Daisy Watches Fate Unfold, Part I
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?!"
Daisy was on guard as soon as she heard the rude boy's annoyingly familiar voice. She turned quickly, ready to defend herself, though she doubted he was really a threat. The rude boy was standing there, obviously fuming about something.
They were in the food court of the mall. She and Rhonda were seated at a table eating Chick-Fil-A sandwiches. Daisy turned back to her tray, finished chewing, took a sip of her Sprite, then stood up to face the boy.
"What did I do to whom?" she replied calmly.
"You know damn well who! My dad!"
She studied his angry face and-much to her annoyance-still found him attractive. His hair had gotten a little longer and shaggier, but she kind of liked that. Still, she was very annoyed with him.
"I'm sorry, but as much as you've been stalking me-"

Daisy's Hot Pursuit
One evening, Daisy was watching Star Trek reruns, swearing she would study for her SATs soon, when the phone rang. The mayor's voice greeted her.
"Daisy, I hate to bother you on a school night, but Richmond needs your help."
"What is it, Mister Mayor?"
"Two words: Bad Penny."
Daisy sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Her again? Broke out of juvie, huh?"

"I guess she's asking for me?"
There was a pause. "Well, no, not really."
For a split second, Daisy was actually almost disappointed. But then, she was just relieved.
"Has she made any demands?" Daisy asked.
"Just one. But it's a.. v...ry... ..."
"I'm sorry?" Daisy replied.
"You have to listen very carefully," whispered the mayor. Then he whispered something else but Daisy had to strain and concentrate to understand it. And then, her instincts kicked in and she ducked.
The glass of the TV room window shattered and a throwing

Daisy Gets Back on her Feet
Daisy was standing in a desert filled with dead babies, all murdered by her Magic AK-47 that Never Runs out of Ammo. A man was standing before her wearing a tuxedo, a top hat, and a white sash that said "MAYOR".
"Daisy," the man said sadly, "I am so disappointed in you. You are such a bad person." And the man didn't look at all like the mayor of Richmond, but more like her father. He just shook his head, then turned and handed the key to the city to Flawless Man. Beside him stood the rude boy, and they both looked at Daisy and snickered.
To her horror, Daisy realized she was completely naked. She glanced back at the two males who mockingly appraised her. The mayor/dad had apparently vanished.
"Adequate," Flawless Man remarked, like a stuck up art critic.
"Not even," said the boy. His face looked meaner than it ever had before.
Daisy had never been so humiliated. She couldn't care less what Flawless Man thought, but for some reason
